After a bachelorette party foul involving a cucumber and a misunderstanding, Keaton is ready to take charge and amp up her skills. Feeling like she missed out on everything exciting due to work, she asks her best friend Slate to help her get over her issues by getting under the sheets. Slate doesn't do relationships after his ex Tanya seriously destroyed his heart and his self-esteem, now he's more of a live in the moment type of guy. But when helping Keaton with her sexy to-do list becomes a little too personal, Slate learns real quick that feelings of the heart can't be ignored. I enjoyed this book a lot and Kendall Ryan is one of my favorite authors. While I love a best-friends-to lovers story, I feel like this one could have included a little more detail. While I like that the story was narrated by both pov's, I still felt like I was a little blindsided when they caught feelings. Going from totally platonic friends with benefits, to confessing your love needs to have a little more build up than just casual conversations and Netflix and chill for me. However, this book was a quick read for me and that seemed to fit with the plot. This story is cute and checks off all the needed boxes for a friends-to lovers story, but Kendall Ryan definitely has some more thought out stories under her belt.

Cliffhanger: No

Overall: 3/5
