Jase Simmons and Piper Ross have a complicated history. While Piper was busy being the golden child, Jase was in prison for a crime he didn't commit. But, the heart wants what the heart wants, and Piper has been in love with Jase since she was 14. It didn't help that Jase just happens to be her best friend's older brother. Seven years later, when Jase is released and Piper's parents cut her off, he offers to let Piper stay with him until she can get back on her feet. But Piper's crush seems to have never gone away, and now that she's older and wiser, she's ready to take what she wants, and she still wants Jase. Jase can only hold out for so long, until his gorgeous roommate becomes a little too tempting. I definitely enjoyed this story, plus I'm a huge sucker for a best friends brother romance and this cute, funny tale delivered. This is the second book in the Take the Fall series, but can be read as a standalone.
