11 years ago, seniors Niccolo "Nico" Manganiello and Elizabeth "Lizzybella" Finney hooked up. Elizabeth then promptly flew to Ireland to study abroad and they have not seen each other since, that is until Nico's niece, Angelica, and their 10 year high school reunion throw the two together again in the Windy City. Liz just wants to finish her residency without any drama, while Nico is the complete opposite. Being "The Face" of New York with his comedy reality show and past life as an underwear model, Nico doesn't know how to lay low. However, he never forgot about his old frenemy from high school. Both still broken over the loss of someone close to them, Nico and Liz have to figure out how to live a normal life again, and how they can learn to help each other heal. Add to the mix jealous coworkers and crazy stalkers, this novel is a dramatic fulfilled read. I really enjoyed this book, it was equal parts funny and serious. Liz's friends in her knitting circle also keep life interesting. I have not read any of the other novels in this series yet, but I definitely want to, the Knitting in the City Series seems like a fun and sexy series.
Cliffhanger: No
Overall: 4.5/5
